To be or not to be.
an essay by Courtney-Elizabeth Marie H. about the Gender specifics and her take on same sex marriage.

To be or not to be, is what a famous writer said once and when he said that, the world assumed different meanings. To love or not to love, to seize or not to seize, to turn or not to turn. it keeps going, now i'm going to cut to the chase here. To be straight or not to be straight.

Imagine a world where being homosexual was more dominate than heterosexual, Imagine a boy loving a girl but couldn't be seen with her because society keeps pushing the thought of being different and telling the boy "You cannot do that. you'd put shame on your family and the nation". sounds horrible? that is because that would be turning the tables. Homosexuals are constantly shamed, constantly called "faggot, fairy, fruity, ect", but let me tell you something okay? They fell in love with a Person not a gender.

Apparently god "hates" gays. But excuse me for a second, i don't mean to talk bad about christian religion, because i'm somewhat a christian too. But christian's say "God loves everyone even the criminals" but if you bring up being homosexual, apparently those are the only types of people god hates. You can't be a hypocrite about it. You can't tell innocent people with human feelings that the person who made them, hates their guts.

I think it's about time we legalize Same Sex marriage. equality isn't only a race issue. i hope The world realizes that. some people waited 20+ years for their state to legalize gay marriage, and how would you feel if you fell in love with someone and couldn't ever marry them because the world keeps beating you down? sounds like hell to me.

i also don't want to make it seem like heterosexuals are horrid. because if we do that, we're going to have the same issue all over again come 5 years from now. So instead of acting like you want equality, get off the complain ship and do something about it.

Best regards to whoever is reading this.
